BONNIE DEAN HUFFMAN WELLS

Services for Bonnie Dean Huffman Wells will be Saturday, November 8, 2008, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Longview at 10 a.m. with Rev. Charles "Chuck" Brown officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, November 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Longview.

Mrs. Wells was born on January 18, 1926, in Gorman, Texas, to Jody and Minnie Huffman. She went to be with her Lord on November 5, 2008, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Mrs. Wells graduated from Lingleville High School in 1943. She married Robert Wells in 1944, and they eventually settled in Longview with their family. Mrs. Wells was a homemaker and led a very fulfilling life as a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a dedicated member of Pine Tree Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Wells was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wells of Longview, Texas.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert Wells of Longview; a son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Marsha Wells of Marshall, Texas; three granddaughters and their husbands, Merritt and Kevin Glanton of Tyler, Texas, Jodi and JC Bonet of Jacksonville, Texas, and Jamie and Paul Correale of Hope Mills, N.C.; four greatgrandsons, Isaiah and Micah Glanton of Tyler, Texas, and Anthony and Nathaniel Correale of Hope Mills, N.C.; sisters, Naomi Ferguson and husband Clarence Eugene "Ferg" Ferguson, Elaine Hammett, Carol Henderson, and sister-in-law Pat Huffman, all of Stephenville, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Pine Tree Cumberland Presbyterian Church, or a charity of your choice.
