LC's Roper regional qualifier

LAKE BOB SANDLIN — Tasha Roper of Leverett's Chapel placed 10th in district cross country last Saturday with a 13:48 in the 2 mile run.

That means Roper will run this Saturday in Humble at the regional meet.

"Tasha did an amazing job at district," coach Kimmie Everett said. "She took two minutes off from her first meet of the year.

"She's a great runner and I look forward to seeing her beating her time again at regional."
