Well known celebrities to donate autographed doodles to ETLC

The East Texas Literacy Council and Cafe Barron's have joined together to bring a special celebrity auction to Longview on Monday, Nov. 17.

Tim Conway, Ashley Judd, Steve Martin, Dr. Phil, Dave Barry, Mark Cuban, Tom Brokaw, Mack Brown and more than 60 other folks — from sports greats to movie stars — have donated autographed doodles and other items for a silent auction benefiting the ETLC's learning programs.

All are invited to attend and support literacy by putting in a bid on their favorite celebrity doodle. There will be special offerings of local artists, too.

The auction begins at 7 p.m. and ends at 8:45 at Cafe Barron's, located at Loop 281 and McCann Street.
