MARY A. FORTSON

Funeral services for Mary Alice Fortson of Dallas, will be held Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 at 11a.m. at Evergreen Chapel 6449 Houston School Road, Dallas. Burial will follow at Fortson Cemetery in Kilgore.

She was born Aug. 14, 1929 to the parentage of John Thomas and Susie Ruth Montgomery in Dallas. She died Oct. 28, 2008 in Dallas

She attended Dallas Public Schools and graduated from Lincoln High School. She was a member of New El Bethel Baptist Church in Dallas She retired from Southwestern Bell.

She leaves to mourn, husband, Jeremiah Fortson, Dallas; two sisters, Hazel Long, Las Vegas, Nevada, Martha Tompkins, of Florida; two daughters, Wanda Olds and Cynthia Parker both of Dallas; one son, William Olds of Arlington;13 grandchildren; 7 greatgrandchildren and a host of in-laws in Kilgore.

No visitation will be held.
