Others characters at the office today are Clint Eastwood — complete with cigar — the reining Queen of Dark Hearts, a broomriding witch, a ghoul, a pirate and Billy Bob "3-B" Brady. +++ The Lions Club Annual Halloween Carnival is 6 p.m. tomorrow at the Lions Club Building, instead of tonight. Lions say this carnival is to be the best ever. +++ Kilgore Public Library is offering a hands-on selfdefense class for women 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, in the library's meeting room. The class will be taught by Mark Dickey, William Peoples and Mark Eaton. This workshop is free; however, seating is limited.
