JV football fans who witnessed Austin Jordan, A Team player, getting injured last night can exhale. Jordan was at school this morning and it is said he is doing fine.

Head over to St. Luke's United Methodist Church tomorrow for the fourth annual Kiwanis International Drive-Thru Barbecue, to benefit the organization's youth projects.

For $6 the boxed lunch includes pork barbecue, sausage, beans, potato salad and a drink.

St. Luke's will also be raising money for the Pumpkin Patch with a bake sale held during the event.

The bake sale runs 10 a.m. until noon and the drive-thru is open 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.

East Texas Treatment Center is hosting a goingaway party for Merlyn Holmes, former ETTC marketing Director. Festivities are come-and-go from 3 until 6 p.m. at ETTC.

Bucyrus, business located in North Kilgore Industrial Park, holds it grand opening 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the newly-build facility on Maverick Drive.
