BIG TURNOUT AT KHS CHEER MINI-CAMP

Kilgore High School's cheerleading mini-camp was held last weekend with a great turnout: over 80 participants. The future cheerleaders learned cheers, chants, spiriting, stunts, and how to do it all with a smile on their face. The fourth grade and up group (right) showed off their stunting skills to parents while Maci Hatcher and Carter Williams sat in varsity cheerleader Leigha Mason's lap waiting their turn to demonstrate their new-found skills. The cheerleaders will be holding their annual tailgate party on Nov. 7th before the Nacogdoches game, so mark your calendars.
