KIS CELEBRATES HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH
 Kilgore Intermediate School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month last Friday. Members of the faculty, along with dancers from Maude Laird Middle School entertained the student body as they learned to dance. The students learned about Hispanics from all different countries. Vicki Magana gave a power point presentation, Vicki represented Latinos in Action from Kilgore College. The guest speaker was Gloria Gallardo, from NBC 56 who talked about being born in Mexico and how it was for her immigrating to the United States. Andy Adams is the principal at KIS. (photo right)  |
