Jordan and Carter unite in marriage

Mrs. Jeremy Jordan (nee Kellie Carter) Kellie Carter and Jeremy Jordan of Houston were joined in marriage on Oct. 4, 2008, at Castle on the Lake in Jacksonville. The Rev. Rick Sitton of Lumberton officiated.

Kellie is the daughter of Allen and Denise Carter of Tyler. She graduated for John Tyler High School and the University of Texas and is employed as a petroleum engineer at Cawley, Gillespie & Associates, Inc.

Jeremy is the son of Jim and Karen Jordan of Tyler. He graduated from Chapel Hill High School and attended Texas A&M. He is employed at Texas POS in software sales.

Maricar Faris of Houston served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were JoeAnn Nguyen of Los Angeles, Calf., Ann Peche of San Antonio and Lisa Anderson of Austin. The flower girl was the bride's niece, Leah Carter of Tyler.

Best Man was Dylan Richardson of Tyler. Groomsmen were Nic Garner of Tulsa, Okla., and Tyler, Daniel Hegg and Joseph Jacks, both of Tyler. Adam Jordan of Tyler served as usher.

The couple will reside in Houston following their honeymoon in Belize.
