LANCE HILLHOUSE
      Lance Hillhouse, 55, of Kilgore passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, in Tyler. He was born in Longview on Jan.11, 1953, and was the son of the late Arvy Cornelius Hillhouse and Anna Fern Ratekin. He graduated from Sabine High School in 1971 and attended Kilgore College. He worked as an EMT and dispatcher for Careflight Emergency Services in Dallas prior to moving to Kilgore.

      Henry Allison Botkins Sr., 83, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008. Mr. Botkins was born in Ada, Okla., a son of the late Benjamin and Thelma Botkins. He was a member of Millbrook Baptist Churc. He retired from E.I. Dupont with 37 years of service as Chief Engineer in Maintenance in the D, F, and H areas.
