TOURING EAST TEXAS OIL HISTORY
The East Texas Oil Museum receives visitors from all over the world. Wednesday, Jeremy Vechinski, from Milwaukee, Wis., stopped by while on a 3,900-mile motorcycle trip. Vechinski said he planned what he thought would be interesting stops along the way and he was not disappointed by the oil museum. He said he was leaving Kilgore on Wednesday, headed for Paris and Beaumont before heading back to Wisconsin. Vechinski is an avid motorcyclist touring on his 1998 BMW 1100 RT. More ...

"Mouse" is an active young cat who has declawed front paws (requiring an inside-only home), but that doesn't keep playing with anything that moves. "Shorty" is a4-month-old male Chihuahua/ Corgi mix who is playful and active. Shorty was turned over to the shelter because of children's allergies.
