HENRY ALLISON BOTKINS SR.

Henry Allison Botkins Sr., 83, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008.

Mr. Botkins was born in Ada, Okla., a son of the late Benjamin and Thelma Botkins. He was a member of Millbrook Baptist Churc. He retired from E.I. Dupont with 37 years of service as Chief Engineer in Maintenance in the D, F, and H areas.

Survivors include a son, Henry Al (Lou Ree) Botkins, Jr., Adairsville, GA; two grandchildren; and a niece.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Millbrook Baptist Church. Reverend Dr. Eddie Leopard will officiate. Interment will follow in Southlawn Cemetery in Aiken.

Active pallbearers will be Houston Brown, Billy Pierce, Tom McLellan, Harry Harmon, H. O. Spooky Weeks and the Honorable Thomas W. Weeks.
