DELL BREWER BIRDSONG

Services for Dell Birdsong, 81, of Kilgore were Oct. 6, 2008, at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Vidacovich officiating. Burial followed in Danville Cemetery. She died Oct. 4, 2008 in Kilgore.

She was born July 22, 1927, in Eastland. She attended public schools in Sulphur, Okla., and graduated Kilgore High School and Kilgore College. She studied accounting at the University of New Mexico and worked for various accounting firms in the East Texas area. Mrs. Birdsong retired from Circle M Well Service. She was a longtime member of the Chandler Street Church of Christ.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Dee Norris of Longview, Kenneth and Janice Norris of Kilgore; three sisters, Billie Southwell of Euless, Mary Jo Wilson of Kilgore, Dorothy Brooks of Kilgore; two brothers, James Brewer and his wife, Abbey of Houston, Gene Brewer of Longview; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
