SAMMY DEAN HENLEY, JR.

Services for Sammy Dean Henley, Jr., 39, of Longview, formerly of Kilgore were, Friday, Oct. 3, 2008 at Forest Home Baptist Church with Rev. Buddy Duggins officiating. Burial followed in Danville Cemetery. Mr. Henley died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 in Longview.

Sammy was born March 20, 1969 in Houston, to Sharon Kay and Sammy Henley. Sammy attended Kilgore public schools where he enjoyed athletics and was a 1987 graduate of Kilgore High School and attended Kilgore College. He worked in sales and operations of "Sam's Oil Country Inspections." Sammy was a member of Forest Home Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Misty Still Henley of Longview; son, Garrett Dean Henley of Longview; father, Sam Henley, Sr. of Jefferson; mother, Sharon Kay Henley of Hallsville; sister, Christie Dawn Morgan of Kilgore; grandmother, Gertrude Lucille King of Kilgore; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Pallearers were Sam Henley, Sr., Jay Ward, Michael Charles Henley, Micheal Morgan, Max Hunter, Marty Dubrock, George Cleary, Kenndal Steelman, mathew Morgan Richard Henley.
