MICHAEL OLIVER DENT

Michael Oliver Dent, 53, born August 10, 1955, in Kilgore, to Vernon Oliver and Mary Alice Holder Dent, passed from this life on Oct. 2, 2008, in Jefferson.

Mr. Dent was an electrician and an avid golfer and bowler.

Michael is preceded in death by his father; and a brother Billy Dent.

He is survived by his mother Alice Dent; brothers, Jessie Charles Dent and wife Sandra; Vernon Wayne Dent and wife Pamela; Richard Earl Dent and wife Patricia; and Robert Dent; four nephews; three nieces; and one great niece; as well as an aunt, Bobbie Dent, and an uncle, Oscar Dent; along with numerous other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Lakeview Funeral Home.

In lieu of the usual floral remembrances the family request donations are made to the American Heart Association or a charity of your choice.
