DAILY DIGEST TUESDAY THE KILGORE MINISTERIAL ALLIANCE will meet at The Willows of Kilgore at noon on Oct. 7. All area pastors are invited for lunch, fellowship and input on community activities involving the Ministerial Alliance. WEDNESDAY CIVIC GARDEN CLUB will meet at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 8, at the Ramke home in Royal Oaks. Speaker will be Carol Ramke, Master Gardener, who will present the program on "Living Green," explaining first-hand how it is possible to "go green" in heating, cooling, watering and growing gardens. FRIDAY HIGHLAND PARK BAPTIST CHURCH will host its annual bazaar and soup luncheon on Oct. 17 at the church's family life center, to the right of the church if you're looking at it from Highway 259. The bazaar, which will feature crafts, Christmas decor and a bake sale, will be held from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., and the soup luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m., at a cost of $5 for adults, $2.50 for children under 12.
