EAGLE SCOUT HELPS CRISIS CENTER
Joseph Worden recently spearheaded a drive to improve the surroundings at the Kilgore Community Crisis Center as part of his Eagle Scout service project. Joseph, 2008 KHS graduate and son of Dennis and Paula Worden, directed 12 scouts from Troop 495, along with their families, to paint a bedroom and bath, the back porch, a wooden swing set and the food closet at the center. Local businesses that donated the supplies for the iprovements were WalMart, Sherwin- Williams, Brookshire's, East Texas Hardware and Lowe's. At right, Joseph works with Scott Cheb. County Red Cross with storm costs
