Joseph Worden recently spearheaded a drive to improve the surroundings at the Kilgore Community Crisis Center as part of his Eagle Scout service project. Joseph, 2008 KHS graduate and son of Dennis and Paula Worden, directed 12 scouts from Troop 495, along with their families, to paint a bedroom and bath, the back porch, a wooden swing set and the food closet at the center.
