SAMMY DEAN HENLEY, JR.

Services for Sammy Dean Henley, Jr., 39, of Longview, formerly of Kilgore will be eleven a.m., Friday, October 3, 2008 at Forest Home Baptist Church with Reverend Buddy Duggins officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery. Mr. Henley died Tuesday, September 30, 2008 in Longview, Texas.

Sammy was born March 20, 1969 in Houston, Texas to Sharon Kay and Sammy Henley. Their family moved to Kilgore in 1979. Sammy attended Kilgore public schools where he enjoyed athletics and was a 1987 graduate of Kilgore High School. Mr. Henley attended Kilgore College. He worked in sales and operations of "Sam's Oil Country Inspections." Sammy was a member of Forest Home Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Misty Still Henley of Longview; son, Garrett Dean Henley of Longview; father, Sam Henley, Sr. of Jefferson, Texas; mother, Sharon Kay Henley of Hallsville; sister, Christie Dawn Morgan of Kilgore; grandmother, Gertrude Lucille King of Kilgore; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Thursday evening between six and seven-thirty p.m.
