AGUAS FRESCAS
 As part of Hispanic Heritage Month, Maude Laird Middle School students got a treat Friday — a cool treat that is, aguas frescas. From cinnamon rice milk, watermelon, hibiscus, tamarind and cantaloupe, MLMS students lined up to try each flavor. MLMS faculty members Martha Davila, Amanda Jackson and Paula Jordan did the serving. All of these drinks were made from fresh ingredients. |
