STEPHANIE DIANE DUKES

Services for Stephanie Dukes, 10, of Kilgore will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the First Baptist Church with Reverend Dale Simpson and Greg Hendrickson officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery. Stephanie passed away Friday, September 19, 2008 in Dallas, Texas.

Stephanie was born May 5, 1998 in Kilgore to her parents Dana and Cindy Dukes. She was a precious gift from God who enjoyed life. Everyday was a new day and adventure with Stephanie. She often would work as a peacemaker to resolve conflicts between friends and family. Stephanie was innocent but wise beyond her years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and drawing cartoons and doodling. Stephanie loved walking her dogs and playing with her cats. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Stephanie is survived by her parents Dana and Cindy Dukes of Kilgore; brothers and sisters Jacob Dukes of Houston, Sebastian Hunt of Omaha, Nebraska, September Hunt of Kilgore and Kaitlin Hunt of Kilgore; grandparents Christine Dukes of Kilgore, Sharon Davis of Omaha, Nebraska and Bernie Childers of San Antonio; niece Riley Hunt of Kilgore as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many other loving family and friends.

Memorials can be made to the Stephanie Dukes Memorial Fund c/o Citizens Bank 301 E. Main, Kilgore, Texas 75662.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m.
