City, rural supplies flush with water

'Thank God for generators!'
While thousands of Northeast Texans lost electricity in the fury of Hurricane Ike, relatively few in the Kilgore area suffered for lack of water. Overton and Laird Hill residents have been warned to boil water before drinking, but other area suppliers managed to get through the storm with few if any glitches.
