MARY NELL HEARD BARNES

Services for Mary Nell Heard Barnes, 60, of Gladewater, are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Eubank Chapel-Canton, with Bro. David McGee & Dr. Printis McGee officiating, under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Mrs. Barnes passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2008, in Longview.

She was born May 14, 1948 in Arc Ridge (near Ben Wheeler) Texas to the late Roy Gerald Heard and the late Minnie Eva Currey Heard.

She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Gladewater.

Survivors include her husband, David Barnes of Gladewater, Tx.

two sons & a daughter-inlaw, Jackie Barnes of Cheyenne, Wy., Jimmy & Lisa Barnes of Gladewater; daughters, Janell Barnes of Gladewater, Joyce Weems of Gladewater; 9 grandchildren; two sisters & a bro-inlaw, Sue Johns of Ben Wheeler, Molly & Robert Wallace of Cushing; brother and sister-in-law, Ron & Pam Heard of Hallsville; 2 uncles; one aunt; host of friends.

Family will receive friends 1 hour prior service.
