Commissioners to adopt Gregg County Capital Improvement Plan Gregg County Commissioners are slated to address a routine agenda Monday, which includes approval of a resolution that adopts the Gregg County Capital Improvement Plan. The plan includes airport projects, transportation projects and county facilities projects. Bob Barbee, Pct. 3 commissioner, has requested that commissioners approve $2,600 for the replacement and repair of glass doors in the front of the Kilgore Community Building. Barbee has also requested that commissioners approve the addition of Carra Avenue and Emma Lane to the county road list. Carra Road begins at West FM 1252, continues for 1353 feet and ends in a cul de sac. Emma Lane begins at Carra Road, continues 305 feet and also ends in a cul de sac. John Mathis, Pct. 4 commissioner, requests that commissioners approve assistance with repairs and overlay of the parking lot for Pct. 4 justice of peace, on Eastman Road. Maxey Cerliano, Gregg County Sheriff, requests that commissioners approve sheriff 's office use of inmate labor to assist Camp Fire USA, a nonprofit organization. In other business, commissioners are asked to approve the purchase of two desk cubicle units for the County Health Department. Commussioners are also asked to acknowledge orders set for compensation for the Court reporter and County Auditor's budget, as well as acknowledge precinct Road and Bridge reports. Gregg County Commissioners' Court meets 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. on the third floor of Gregg County Courthouse in the Commissioners' Courtroom.
