About a dozen members of the Patriot Guard Riders turned out yesterday to provide a funeral escort for Floyd Pardue of Gladewater. Pardue was a veteran of the Korean conflict and the Vietnam War. FOOTBALL Freshmen, JV beat Hallsville Both the freshmen and junior varsity football teams at Kilgore High School scored wins over Hallsville on Thursday night here at R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium. Memorial services for Juanita Krantz Crone Paige, 82, of Longview will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 in the Chapel of Welch Funeral Home, 4619 Judson Road, with Rev. Rebecca Adams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home at 3:00 p.m., before the service. Mrs. Paige passed away on Tuesday at a local nursing facility. More...
