FRESHMEN WIN TOURNEY; KHS FACES HALLSVILLE FRIDAY
 Courtesy photo from KHS The Kilgore High School freshmen team (above, with coach Cassie Newell) won the tournament at Elysian Fields last weekend beating Beckville in two games, Grace Community in three and Carthage in three in the finals. The freshmen also defeated Marshall on Tuesday night. All three KHS volleyball teams will host Hallsville on Friday. Freshmen and varsity will both play at 4:30 p.m., and junior varsity will follow. The girls are gone next week — they visit Pine Tree High School on Tuesday, no longer a district game, and visit Lufkin next Friday.
