Kilgore suffers with rash of car burglaries

Kilgore Police Department responded to a string of vehicle burglaries at several local apartment complexes Monday, which include Lexington Court Apartments, Chateau Apartments and Glen Hollow Apartments.

The burglaries are believed to have occurred during the early morning hours on Labor Day.

A total of seven vehicle burglaries were reported. All involved an unknown person or persons smashing a vehicle passenger window and removing car stereos, DVD players, GPS systems and other items of value.

Crime Stoppers may pay up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of the subject responsible for this crime.
