FLOYD PARDUE

Services for Floyd Pardue, 72, of Gladewater will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Reverend Don Beebe officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery. Mr. Pardue passed away Monday, September 1, 2008 in Longview, Texas.

Mr. Pardue was born December 21, 1935 in Downsville, Louisiana to the late Floyd Calvin and Evelyn Fern Pardue. He worked for Key Energy in the East Texas Oilfield for 36 years. Mr. Pardue served in the United States Army during Korea and Vietnam. He enjoyed working in the garden and giving away all the vegetables to family and friends. He loved animals especially his little dog "Sable". Mr. Pardue will be missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Pardue is survived by his wife, Gene Pardue of Gladewater; one son Eugene Pardue of Gladewater; five sisters Elizabeth Roland of Seattle, WA; Nancy Walters of St. Louis, MO, Melba Delaney of Monroe, LA, Ester Stewart of Jonesboro, LA and Sue Simons of Winnfield, LA; two brothers Bridges Pardue of Gonzales, LA and Howard Pardue of Winnfield, LA as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.
