Baylor also awarded students with one of three other merit scholarships awarded on the basis of a combination of class rank and SAT or ACT scores:

* the President's Gold Scholarship, which provides $36,000 to $56,000 for eight semesters;

* the Provost's Gold Scholarship, which provides $28,000 to $36,000 for eight semesters;

* the Deans' Gold Scholarship, which provides $8,000 to $20,000 for eight semesters.

John Anthony, a 2008 graduate of Kilgore, has been awarded a President's Gold Scholarship.
