Greene wins MCC women's title; several juniors victorious

Tammy Greene is the 2008 Meadowbrook Country Club women's champion, firing a two-day 175 over last weekend to win the championship flight.

Debra White was six strokes back and finished second; Laura Clark finished third. Janice Long won the first flight, shooting a 218. Janice Stephens was second and Ginger Hale third.

The club also hosted its junior club championship tournaments last weekend. John David Plunk shot a 63 to win the nine-andunder division, with Abby Truman finishing second.

Paige Weiss won the 10-and-11-year-old division, shooting a 64. Jace Mankins was second and Zach Carter third.

In the 12-and-13-year-old division, Caleb Watson was first with a 112. Austin Clark was second, and Ryan Reinert third.

Jake Bolding shot an 82 to win the 14- and-15-year-old division; Mary Mays was second and Cody Long third, and Cameron Clower won the 16-and-17 year-old division, shooting a 78 to outlast second-place finisher Jacob Patterson.
