Kilgore opens fall tennis season with sweep

That's what the Kilgore High School tennis team did on Saturday, sweeping Gladewater in every match, 20-0. The scrimmage was delayed a bit by lightning. KC coach J.J. Eckert, about to begin his second season heading up the Rangers, said he saw good and bad in the scrimmage, things for the Rangers to work on before Saturday's season opener here against Fort Scott (Kan.), a 7 p.m. kickoff.
