The Kilgore High School tennis team got a bigger building this summer and just last week a new deck was added to the building which will also be handicap accessible, restrooms were added for boys and girls and the public and separate dressing rooms for the girls and boys team. The team played Gladewater this weekend, results will be available on Tuesday. It was another great Buddy Day for Head Coach JJ Eckert and the Kilgore College Ranger Football team. Kds of all ages, shapes and sizes, girls and boys, ate hamburgers and hotdogs, tackled, literally ran over Ranger players, caught passes and ran for touch downs at R.E. St. Johns Stadium Thursday night. I don't know who had more fun, the kids or the players. The Rangers open their home season on Aug. 30 against Fort Scott, Kan. The kickoff will be at 7 p.m. More...
