KHS VOLLEYBALL OPENS SEASON TONIGHT
 File photo by Lester Murray Kilgore High School's volleyball teams officially open the 2008 season tonight at Longview High School in a trimatch against Longview and North Lamar. Games begin at 5 p.m., and Kilgore's freshmen, junior varsity and varsity are all scheduled to play. The teams are coached by Lacy Thompson, Amanda Farmer and Cassie Newell. The varsity is scheduled to participate in a tournament in Van on Friday and Saturday, and the freshmen and JV are scheduled to play in a Saturday-only tournament in Hallsville.
