      DEAR ABBY: I have been involved in a long-distance relationship for the past year. I'm crazy about him and have been completely faithful to him. While we were talking on the phone today he asked, "What would you do if I cheated on you?" It came out of the blue, and I realized he was serious! I finally drove myself to the emergency room at a nearby hospital and, after numerous tests and a biopsy, the diagnosis was temporal arteritis. The doctors prescribed prednisone. Since taking it, I do not have the headaches. However, I am very weak and have no energy.
