BERNICE HARVEY

Funeral services for Bernice Harvey, 78 of Kilgore, were Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church with Pastor Carlos Whitaker officiating. Burial followed at Pirtle Cemetery, Overton, under the direction of Cunningham Funeral Home.

She was born October 14, 1929 in Karnack, to the parentage of Allen Davis and Cuettar Taylor Davis.

She died Thursday, August 8, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Alvin Harvey, Sr.

She is survived by; one brother, J.B. Davis, Fort Worth; 11 children, daughters, Betty Hollis, of Marshall, Barbara Harvey, of Kilgore, Patricia Harvey, of Dallas, India Harvey, of Kilgore, Ina Hilburn and husband Gerald of Kilgore, Rosalind Jefferson and husband Timothy of Longview, Mary Beaty and husband, Charles, of Kilgore, Tonnie Zackery and husband James, of Kilgore; sons; Alvin Harvey, Jr. and wife Pamela of Longview, Albert Harvey, and wife Patricia of Kilgore, and Darrell Harvey of Dallas; twenty four grandchildren, thirty four great grandchildren, two great-greatgrandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Harmony Pirtle Baptist Church Scholarship Fund.
