 File photo by Lester Murray The Kilgore College Rangers football program had a big hit last year with Buddy Day, allowing area youngsters to come out to R.E. St. John Memorial Stadium, get a hamburger and interact with the football team, even going through different football exercises and drills. Coach J.J. Eckert (above, standing) and the Rangers are hosting Buddy Day again this year on Thursday, Aug. 21, and are inviting area kids to come out to the stadium at 6:30 p.m., grab a grilled-out burger, and have some fun with the Rangers. KC opens the 2008 season here on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Fort Scott (Kan). |
