Cassady and Carroll unite in marriage

Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Cassady, Jr. (nee. Amy Elizabeth Carroll) Mr. and Mrs. Gayle B. Carroll, of Kilgore, announce the marriage of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, to Wayne Thomas Cassady, Jr., of Knoxville, TN. Wayne is the son of Mrs. Gertrude Childress, of Knoxville, TN, and the late Wayne Thomas Cassady, Sr.

The couple was married July 22, 2008 at Berry Springs Lodge, overlooking the Smoky Mountains, in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Amy is a graduate of Kilgore High School and The university of Texas of Tyler. She is employed as a 7 grade English teacher at Cedar Bluff Middle School in Knoxville, TN.

Wayne is a graduate of Ocean Springs Christian Academy in Ocean Springs, MS. and attended LSU, and is a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Army Rangers. He is employed with the East Tennessee Human Resource Agency.

The couple is at in Knoxville, TN.

A reception honoring the couple will be held at a later date.
