VIVIAN MORRIS

Graveside Services for Vivian Morris, 87, of Newton, North Carolina, formerly of Kilgore, Texas will be held at 10 A.M. Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Kilgore Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Riley Pippen officiating. Mrs. Morris passed away Wednesday in Newton, North Carolina.

She was born on February 27, 1921 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to the late James and Ethel Chisholm. Vivian was one of six children born to this pioneering family. She was a homemaker. On June 10, 1946, she married Raymond Morris. In 1969, the family moved to Kilgore, where Mr. Morris was an Area Foreman for Koch Industries. Vivian provided a loving home and was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Andrews loved to read her Bible. The couple were active members of Highland Park Baptist Church.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her three children, Rita Fagan of Washington D. C., Patsy Morris of Newton, North Carolina, and Charles Morris of Fort Collins, Colorado; one grandson, Shane Morris of Fort Collins, Colorado; two great grand children, Haley and Landon Morris of Fort Collins, Colorado.

Her parents and all of her brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening, August 11, 2008 from six to seven-thirty.
