STELLA MAE MORRIS

Services for Stella Mae Morris, 93, of Kilgore will be ten a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Hampton officiating. Burial will follow in Kilgore Cemetery. Mrs. Morris died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 in Longview, Texas.

She was born September 19, 1914 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Mary and Fred Hammer. Mrs. Morris attended Wewoka public schools. She and her husband Earl moved to Kilgore in the early 1930's.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her daughter, Barbara Barton of Longview; three grandchildren, Rob Barton, M.D. and his wife, Katherine of Portland, Oregon, Leslie Nance and her husband, Keith of Longview, Ronnie Barton of Kilgore; seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Earl Morris and a son, Darrell Morris.

The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home Friday evening between six and seven-thirty p.m.
