Kilgore residents arrested for Wal-Mart robbery Two Kilgore residents are in the Gregg County jail, charged with the robbery of Murphy USA, located at the Kilgore Wal-Mart. Det. Davis Merrell, Kilgore Police Department, said in the course of the investigation of the armed robbery, Tocorey Ray Ferguson, 24 and Trista Harrod, 24, have both been charged with aggravated robbery and are currently in the county's custody in lieu of bail. Merrell said Ferguson and Harrod were both arrested on Monday by Gregg County Sheriff 's Deputies for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Harrod was charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon and Ferguson was charged with felon in possession of a handgun. Merrell said the Kilgore Police Department is also looking at this couple for a purse grab that occurred in the parking lot of the same Wal-Mart where the gas station robbery occurred. Evidence was presented to Justice of the Peace Talyna Carlson, warrants were issued and served on Ferguson and Harrod at the Gregg County Jail yesterday. Merrell said evidence indicates Ferguson committed the robbery and Harrod drove the vehicle. Merrell said KPD has statements from witnesses about the robbery and Harrod has also given a statement. Harrod lives at 611 Laird St. and Ferguson lives at 622 U.S. Hwy. 259 N., Apt. 214. There are also charges likely to be filed from the City of Greenville for both of these subjects according to Merrell.
