LEONA FISHER

Funeral services for Leona Fisher, 84, of Winnsboro, will be Saturday, July 19, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Tranquil Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Black Oak cemetery under the direction of Cunningham Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 18, 2008 at Tranquil Baptist church from 6-8 p.m.

She was born September 28, 1923 to the late Olivia Paschel and Baskell Pruitt in Black Oak. She was an active member of Douglas Baptist Church, and Tranquil Baptist Church. She was married to the late Ester Lee (Mike) Fisher.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Willie Mae Dickerson, one granddaugher, Linda Faye Rhymes, two brothers, Henry Pruitt and Cleoliver Pruitt.

She passed away July 13, 2008 in Winnsboro.

She is survived by one son, Charles (Lisa) Roney; two daughers, Lois Wade, and Janice Wells, all of Winnsboro; one sister, Jill (Jack) Green of Dallas; sister-inlaw, Eva M. Pruitt, of Denver; 53 grandchildren, 44 greatgrandchildren; 5 great-greatgrandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
