JAMES S. "BUCKY" WALTERS

"Bucky", of Kilgore, passed away July 13, 2008. He was born in Kentucky, Feb. 9, 1919. He moved to Kilgore after serving in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister and son Richard "Rip" Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Marian Walters of Kilgore, sons and daughter-in-law, Ralph and Cynthia Walters of Liberty City, Pryse and Don Walter, of Kilgore, Johnny Hill of League City; daughers and sons-in-law, Shirley and Bruce Broyles and Anita Robinson of Kilgore; 20 grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren.

Arrangements for cremation are by East Texas Funeral Home of Longview. At his request, his remains will be taken back home to Kentucky.

Memorials in honor of Bucky may be made to the American Cancer Society.
