MARCUS P. EUBANK

 
Marcus P. Eubank was born August 2, 1927 in El Dorado, Arkansas to James and Jessie Eubank.

Surrounded by his loving family Marcus departed this life Wednesday evening to be with his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

Marcus moved to East Texas at an early age and attended Longview and Henderson schools. After graduation from Henderson High School, he joined the US Navy and served his country during World War II.

Upon returning from the Navy he met and married his wife of 60 years, Robbie Sue Gibson. As an entrepreneur in the heating and air conditioning industry, he and his wife founded Eubank Manufacturing Enterprises, a family owned and operated business. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of First Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Mark and Jessie McCown Eubank and a sister, Joann Eubank. He survived by his wife Sue, children and spouses: Gala and George Strunk, Mark and Lesa Eubank, Jan and Charles Van Meter; Mike and Vicki Eubank; Kerry and Steve Lattery; brother, Jim an Kay Eubank; sister, Leah Ashford; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Family visitation will be at Rader Funeral Chapel, Longview on Friday from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held at First Christian Church, Longview at 12 Noon Saturday with Dr. Jim Lewis and Dr. Richard Emerson officiating. Burial will follow at Crim¿s Chapel Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
