Amanda LaMotte and Zach Eggen, both of Troup, were united in marriage on May 17, 2008 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at First United Methodist Church of Troup. The Rev. Mike Cline officiated the ceremony. The bride's dress, designed by Oleg Cassini, had a white, strapless, beaded metallic embroidered bodice with pleated organza ball gown skirt and a chapel train.
