FIRST STEPS IN TENNIS
 Kilgore High School tennis coach Jason Maroney (above, in blue, and at right) gives instruction to Aaron Parker (above) and to Jesse Presley as a part of a new junior program for boys in fifth, sixth and seventh grades that runs twice a week throughout this month on the tennis courts at Maude Laird Middle School. Maroney, who just completed his second full school year as KHS tennis coach, also plans on running tennis camps for various ages throughout the summer - watch the Kilgore News Herald sports section for more details. Parker is a fifth grader at Kilgore Intermediate School, and is the son of Amanda and Brandon Parker. Presley is a sixth grader at MLMS, and is getting his first exposure to tennis.
