THANKS AND WELCOME HOME

2008-05-07 / Front Page

Arriving under crossed ladders in salute from the Kilgore Fire Department, with a Kilgore Police escort and the Patriot Guard Motorcycle Club, 125 soldiers arrived at the Kilgore National Guard Armory this morning to cheers of welcome home. (photo left) Friends and family wait anxiously for their loved ones. (photo top) Once they got off the buses the hugs and kisses began as with this father and his three daughters. The sign says it all, "we love you daddy". The unit will undego outprocessing for the next two days and then the soldiers will be released to go home to their families. Bravo Co. was in Iraq for one year.
