KILGOROUND
The Culpepper & Merriweather Circus sponsored by the Kilgore Lions Club will arrive here in one week for shows on Oct. 11 and 12.
Circus management has started the telemarketing sales of tickets to businesses. Businesses are asked to buy tickets for their employees or to be given away. Businesses may also donate them back to the Lions Club and the club will distribute them at schools.
Tickets went on sale Monday at Kilgore National Bank, Citizens Bank, City National Bank and Brookshire's. Advance tickets are $8 for adults and $6 each for children. The advance ticket price will be valid until Oct. 10. Once the Circus arrives on October 11, tickets will only be available at the box office. Tickets at the window will be $11 for adults and $7 for children.
