RUBY B. JOHNSON

Graveside services for Ruby B. Johnson, 61 of Kilgore were Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007 at Kilgore Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Mike Waddle officiating. Mrs. Johnson passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007 in Tyler, Texas.

She was born May 25, 1946 in Marion County, Texas to Flem and Maggie Murray. Ruby worked in management for many years in convenience stores in Kilgore. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Alvin Johnson of Kilgore; two daughters and sons-in-law Tina D. and Micah Thurston of Kilgore and Teresa A. and Robbie Worthington of White Oak; three sisters Joy McGriff of Jefferson, Dorothy Swain of Texarkana, TX and Clara Collins of Jefferson; seven grandchildren; a special friend Tina Denmon of Kilgore as well as several nieces and nephews.
