JAMES BENTON WATTS

Graveside services for James Benton Watts, 79, of Kilgore will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 6, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Lewis Meider officiating. Arrangements are by Rader Home of Longview.

Mr. Watts died Wednesday, October, 2007 in Longview. He was born March 30, 1928, to Benton and Belmont Cochran Watts in Norphlet, Arkansas. He had lived in Kilgore for most of his life and was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran. He was a loving and devoted son, brother, and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Helen Marie Watts.

Survivors include his sisters, Gerry Strahan and husband Howard of Houston, Bennie Brown and her husband Ron of Longview, and Pat Watts of Kilgore; one nephew; one niece; and her husband and one great niece.
