BLUEGRASS COMES TO CHANDLER

Penny and Katy Clark volunteered their time and musical talents to entertain first graders at Chandler elementary school Friday, at the conclusion of the first week of school. the Clarks brought along their banjo, guitar, mandolin, and accordion as they introduced, for the first time to many students, the variation in these musical instruments. Each class enjoyed a thirty minute concert of the duo's bluegrass sound. Penny and Katy have a nephew, Gabe Ramey, who attends first grade at Chandler Elementary. Having recently graduated from the bluegrass music program at South Plains College in Levelland, the twins plan to travel to Nashville to pursue a career in the music industry.
